Fans Ask About Disappearing Pets When Kourtney Kardashian Welcomes New Puppy

Kourtney Kardashian pulled at the heartstrings of her fans on Christmas when she introduced her newest family member. She shared photos of an adorable Golden Retriever puppy curled up by the Christmas tree. For many, it seemed like a heartwarming family moment. After all, who can resist a cute puppy face? But not all Kardashian fans were happy. It caused many dog lovers to question Kourtney’s dedication to her dogs.

Kourtney got the puppy as a gift for her three kids: Mason, Penelope, and Reign. At the beginning of December, she posted a video of her youngest son, Reign, asking his Elf on the Shelf for a dog. It was a heartwarming video that caused many Kardashian fans to get excited about an upcoming Christmas puppy. On the other hand, the Kardashians don’t have the best reputation when it comes to animals.

What Happened to the Other Dogs?

While the photos of the Christmas puppy were adorable for many fans, some people were a bit confused. There were photos of the new puppy next to the Christmas decorations and even with the children. But one important family member was missing. Kourtney’s Pomeranian, Honey, was not in any of the Christmas photos.

In fact, fans pointed out that Honey is rarely mentioned. The only recent appearance she made was a few months ago on Instagram. Kourtney posted an adorable photo of Penelope hugging the little dog.  For many fans, that was plenty of proof that Honey is still around. However, some followers are still skeptical, especially since Honey is never shown with the new pup.

Honey isn’t the first dog to disappear from the spotlight. Throughout the years, the Kardashians have had approximately 40 different animals in their homes. Most of them only made a few appearances on social media and on the show. Sadly, many of them just stop being mentioned after that.

Even though Honey is still with her family, there are many Kardashian dogs that are not. Some dogs were given away after breakups while others just didn’t seem like a good fit for the family. As cute as these furry family members are, it’s heartbreaking to see that the Kardashians have not made a lifelong commitment to all their dogs and cats.

Kourtney’s Response

On Kourtney’s Instagram, there were many negative comments to her post about the new puppy. She posted the photos with the caption, “But what should we name her?”

Many fans gave cute name suggestions, but not everyone was happy with these adorable puppy photos.

“But do they still have her Pomeranian? Or do they just get rid of dogs for new ones?” asked one follower.

The commenter made a point to say that they weren’t trying to be rude, but they were just worried about what had happened to Honey. Kourtney responded not long after saying “of course we still have Honey our baby Pom Pom.”

Another person commented with: “Temporary since you never keep your dogs.”

This fan later added that she loves Kourtney, but she was just pointing out a trend that she’s seen among the family. However, Kourtney got sassy when she responded: “Wow so much negativity. We still have Honey, but thanks for your assumptions. I’ll assume Santa wasn’t good to you, hence your vibes.” Luckily, this fan was amused by this reply instead of offended.

So, it seems that Kourtney still has Honey along with her new puppy. It still seems odd that so many Kardashian dogs have disappeared over the years, but as long as Kourtney takes good care of her two furry family members, that’s what matters. Hopefully we’ll get to see a photo of the two dogs together soon!
