My cat was in a shelter with a 84% kill rate, & was denied transport to a no-kill rescue bc he was "too ugly". He was so sad and just wanted love. His story was posted to FB & he was saved! I adopted him a month later (in 2018). He is so loving and such a sweetheart. Every life is worth saving!!

This is Duchess (aka Baby), I found her during a cold autumn day, freezing. She didn’t want to leave me, so I took her in. No owner contacted us after months. Dad didn’t want her (due to the loss of his cat a month before), but fell for her the second he arrived home. She’s spoiled everyday by him.

We went to the shelter saying we wanted to adopt a cat between 1 and 2 years old… Mordecai turns 6 next month, but I couldn’t imagine having any other cat.
